Founded on November\u202f5,\u202f1865, the First Baptist Church of Junction City is one of the community\u2019s earliest and most enduring congregations. Our Pastor<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n

Pastor Doug Brown was licensed to preach in 1996 and ordained in 2006. He served in youth ministry for 14 years and spent four years as a chaplain at a children\u2019s institution. In 2004, he accepted the call to pastor First Baptist Church\n in Osage, Iowa, and in 2008, he began serving at Newport Baptist in Newport, Ohio. In 2018, he moved to Junction City to serve as pastor of First Baptist Church, where he continues to minister with a heart for preaching, teaching,\n and community outreach.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
